Sally Atkinson McMurry
Occupation: Kindergarten Teacher (retired), Frederick County Public Schools
Residing In: Mt. Pleasant, MD
Marital Status: Married to John (Louie) McMurry

Louie and I have been married for 47 years. We have 3 sons - Christopher, Jeremy and Benjamin. They all 3 got married within 8 months of each other, between Oct. 2014 and May 2015! We now are the proud grandparents to siblings Addison and Tyson, and identical twins, Ethan and Brady. We also have added a new granddaughter, Quinn Mallory McMurry who will turn 2 in November. We don’t babysit on weekdays anymore. Addie is now in kindergarten and Tyson is home with Mommy on those 2 days.  I’m having so much fun with these precious grand babies!

Since retiring, Louie and I have visited a few beautiful and interesting parts of our country: Key West, Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon and other parts of the Southwest, New Orleans, and Northern California. Soon, we hope to take trips to see our beautiful Mid-West and the Northeastern states. I keep very busy volunteering as the President of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. I also volunteer with my church. Most important of all, though, Louie and I babysit Addie and Tyson 2 days a week. I still have plenty of social time with my group of retirees from Yellow Springs Elementary and friends who were in our wedding. I hope to see everyone at our 50th reunion!

Occupation:  Retired Histology/Quality Assurance Consultant Frederick
Residing in:  Frederick

I am a mom and grandmother. I have a celebrity in my family - my son Brian is a local radio host for 106.9, The Eagle. I also have another son, Adam, who is a US Army Veteran and works for the government.

I have four beautiful granddaughters that bring me so much joy.

After living in NC, SC, VA, OH and NJ, I decided to come back home to Frederick. I used to love to travel and have been in many places outside of the US. My favorite was going with my siblings to Germany visiting where my Mom was born and lived as a child. Still on my list of places to visit is Ireland, London and I really want to go to PARIS.

I am so excited about seeing classmates at our reunion.

Beverly Christie Phebus
Marital status: Widow

I married my high school sweetheart, Clark Phebus, in 1971. After graduation, I worked at GEICO in quality control for a few years until our first child was born.  Thereafter, I've had the privilege of being a stay-at-home wife and mother. God has blessed us with 3 adult children, 6 wonderful grandkids, and 1 great grandchild. Clark passed away in 2014. This year we would have been married 51 years.

My enjoyment for adventure has taken me many beautiful places. In my earlier years, I back-packed Scandinavia and Ecuador, and went on a mission trip to Malaysia and Singapore. I've seen most of the states and have been on several cruises, the latest being a European River cruise on the Danube.

My hobbies include snorkeling, sewing, decorating, crafts, bowling, camping and biking. I keep busy with the grandkids, friends, family and church activities. I volunteer at the Rescue Mission, Meals On Wheels, church and my community.

Connie Cochran
Occupation:  Owner Master Stylist, OC Hair Studio
Marital status:  Single

50 years ago+2, after graduation, I like many seniors before me and after me headed to Ocean City for the honored rite of leaving adolescence behind and moving towards adulthood (and a whole lot of partying in between). I didn't know at that time I would become a business owner. I have owned "Ocean City Hair Studio" for the next 40 years. In honing my craft I was able to travel many times to Paris France for additional training and found travel has become a passion.

Living near the Ocean and all that has to offer has been a fantastic life style. Didn't a wise person say ”If you're lucky to spend a day at the beach, you're lucky enough." I am still living at the beach with my 4 legged best friend "Lulu."

In closing I want to send blessings to all our classmates whom will be here with us and also those who will remain 18 forever in our hearts.

Richard Lee Cook

Occupation:  Actor and Model
Residing In:  Rehoboth Beach, DE
Marital Status:  Single

After graduation, I attended the "American Academy of Dramatic Arts" in NYC. My theatrical career took me to Off-Broadway, in the Musical, "Let My People Come" for a three-year run at the Village Gate. Worked with Tommy Tune, Charles Pierce, and Michael Bennett. Adding to my theatrical career were National touring companies of "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Godspell", "Best Li'L Whorehouse in Texas", "A Chorus Line", "Oliver", "Little Abner", "Joseph's Dreamcoat", and "La Cage Aux Follies" to name a few.  I appeared in feature films, "Avalon", "He Said-She Said", and "Cry Baby." I performed in Dinner Theaters up and down the East Coast. Television, Commercials, and Modeling round out my career.

My latest adventure is writing. An Autobiography:

"TENDER TARNISH"
The Fire and Rain Chronicles
The Horror and Madness
Up On "Hell's Half Acre"

"Where the souls of the living dead are now nothing more than earthbound spirits. At the least shadowed memories endlessly wandering in the darkness of despair and hopelessness, bound by destiny's shackles in an abyss of blackening pitch. One survivor still lives. He fought and battled horrors starting at age three. He tells the story of an ill-fated family. Telling their story of life and death moments through short stories, prose, and poetry. Metaphorically laden, the truths lie between and within the battle scars that were branded in the mind and on the body. Each family member wore a 'Scarlet Letter' throughout their lives in a small town called Frederick, Maryland up on 'HELL'S HALF ACRE'."

James Dennis Easterday
Occupation:  Procurement/ Marketing
Residing In:   Rotonda West, FL
Marital Status, Spouse's Name:  Debbie

After graduation I worked the summer at Frederick Produce Co (a local food distributor). The fall of 1970 I attended FCC with business courses while working part time at a local grocery. The two years of the college scene was not fulfilling, but I did enjoy the parties. Meandered along with below average grades until my father told me “it’s time for a real job.” I began my days - 5am at FPC helping to load trucks, followed by the bottom of the rung job - packing potatoes, then making truck deliveries in Frederick. Worked through the ranks and within a few years was appointed Co-warehouse manager sharing duties with TJ classmate Kit Frey. Kit’s future took a turn to military and I became full warehouse manager. Once in management, I transferred to the procurement/marketing coordinator - traveling to many places in the states.  Then became partner and promoted to Executive VP. In my early 50's, being blessed with health and finances, and knowing my father passed at age 63, I had an opportunity to work just 3 days/week. This allowed more travel - often the winter months to warm locations. Favorite was Florida where we increased time each year until 2008, deciding to become a  resident. My wife, Debbie, and I are living a dream – snowbirds. October thru May we are in our Florida home where I play senior softball 3 days/week, golf and enjoy the weather, then travel to Thurmont where I look out our window to watch deer running through the golf course. We are blessed with 2 daughters and 3 grandkids that we spend plenty of time with.

After graduating high school, I worked for C & P Telephone Co as a Service Representative until 1983. Then began volunteering at East Frederick Elementary. Was hired by FCPS as an Instructional Assistant in 1985. While working at FCPS got my degree in Early Childhood Education and Computer Science from FCC. Retired from FCPS in 2019, after 32 years as a User Support Specialist.

John and I have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. All our children and grandchildren have or will graduate from Governor Thomas Johnson High School. Over the years John and I have stayed involved with TJ sports and TJ band. Since retiring and selling the farm, John and I have been traveling as much as possible with our friends and family. I’m keeping busy volunteering with the Citizens/Montevue Auxiliary, in the gift shop and will become secretary this June. Also, I’m chairing the TJ Band Booster’s cash bingo this September 2021 after rescheduling it 3 times due to COVID. Keep your fingers crossed…hoping the third is the charm and I won’t need to reschedule again. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the 50th!

Randy Freed
Occupation: Environmental Scientist
Residing In:  Manassas, VA
Marital Status, Spouse's Name:  Married to Trish Freed

Trish and I have three grown kids, Julia, Dan, and Zach, who are all happily married and having kids of their own (we have 3 grandchildren so far). We're slowly working through our travel bucket list. Just getting around to see our kids (Baltimore, Apex NC, Bend OR) involves some travel; we spend some time in Lewes, DE; and we have aspirations to get to lots of interesting places.

I'm staying busy with lots of volunteering: Citizens Climate Lobby (bipartisan solution to climate change), Virginia 2021 (fighting gerrymandering in VA), VP of the board of our Unitarian Universalist church, Virginia Master Naturalists, etc.

As far as hobbies, I play guitar (whenever possible, with friends, including a garage band in DE), sing in the church choir, get as much exercise (walking, hiking, biking, swimming) as possible, and read voraciously.

It's been a long and winding road since TJ class of '70, but it's basically the same road.
I'm looking forward to seeing y'all!   See you soon! Randy

Dale Alicia (Ganley) Clabaugh
Occupation:  Insurance Agent; 46 years with State Farm Insurance
Residing In: Walkersville, MD
Marital Status:  Divorced 2007

After TJ, I earned my degree from the University of Maryland in 1974, was hired into management at State Farm Insurance, and married Mike Clabaugh. What a year that was! In 1976 we took in two horses as boarders to offset the cost of my own two horses, and over the next fifteen years, that operation turned into 55 horses boarding at the farm, as well as an international horse show facility that saw about 3500 competitors a year. In 1979, I opened my State Farm Insurance Agency and it is still going strong today. I have no plans to retire because it is wonderful to still be able to take care of people in such a personal way.

Our children, son, Dakota and soon to be daughter-in-law (Kara) are in Tampa FL and daughter, Madison and son-in-law (Jeff) in Frederick, are the joy of our lives. No grandchildren, but I am patiently hopeful!

2007 found me divorced and shutting down the horse show business and most of the boarders dispersing. I moved my horse show skills to another facility and to this day, I help to organize, judge, and announce equestrian events. I have one horse currently, a Norwegian Fjord, and hope that he will take me through the rest of this journey of life.

I still love to ride, swim, and shoot (sporting clays mostly). I am a certified diver and I love most water activities. I stay very engaged in many community organizations and love all the opportunities it gives me to serve in some productive way. Maybe my favorite is being a member of the Saint John the Evangelist choir, in the alto section.

After married life, I started traveling the world - perhaps looking for me :-) It is truly my passion. While the children were still in high school and college, they accompanied me and we were great companions for one another and made the most amazing memories. Since then, I continue to travel with friends. I want to keep going while I can, there is so much to learn here at home and all over the world.

I am keeping my dance card full and hope to dance through the rest of this life with as much wonderment and joy as possible. I hold fast to old friends and I am always happy to meet new ones.

Mark Hays
Occupation (past/current): Colonel US Army (Retired), Air Force Civilian (Retired)
Residing In:  Utah
Marital Status, Spouse's Name:  Married, Gwen for 44 years

Since HS - 16 moves in 30 years as an Active Army Officer and 10 years as an Air Force civilian. I did not have a typical career, but did a variety of assignments: Infantry, Military Intelligence, Aviation, ROTC, Recruiting, Reserve Component, Information Operations. I lived in Germany for 3 years with family (wife and 3 daughters) and 1 year in Korea without family. My combat assignments were during Desert Storm and after, in the Middle East. I flew Reconnaissance Aircraft most of my career.

We settled in Utah because my wife is an avid skier - she still teaches at Alta. And, I love to fly fish in Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming. We mountain bike, hike, camp and fish together. I hunt a little (deer and elk) and shoot a lot. I also ski but not as fanatically as my wife and daughters. We have 3 granddaughters and finally, 1 grandson! He was born in May during the El Reno tornado in Oklahoma City - my daughter was actually evacuated during labor!

We also travel a great deal, my wife much more than I. She is retired from Delta Air Lines. We go to the beach a couple of times a year in Hawaii - 3 daughters, 3 granddaughters - I do like to snorkel.

If anyone needs information on Western travel, especially National Parks, I can certainly give some advice. My latest adventure was a 3 day float and fish in Hell's Canyon Idaho over labor day. It is the deepest canyon in North America with class 3 and 4 rapids, and 50 fish days.

 Dennis Hill
Occupation:  Retired
Residing In:  Southport, NC
Marital Status, Spouse's Name: Married to Merrill

I met my wife Merrill in 1974 at the Holiday Inn lounge in Frederick. She was in Frederick visiting friends from college.  I was home for the weekend. Long story, but Merrill’s friends and my entourage (a few of our classmates) danced at the Holiday Inn and ended the evening with breakfast at Frederick’s I-70 Truck Stop (now a Costco?).  Fast forward 45 years … we are retired and living in Southport, NC where the Cape Fear River meets the Atlantic. Our son Matt and his wife Casey and grandsons Jack and Brody live in the Boston area. Daughter Mallory and granddaughter Gwyneth live in Chapel Hill, NC.

My career was in the oil and restaurant industries developing real estate for new retail locations, managing capital budgets and leading teams.  Employers were BP Oil, McDonald’s and Wendy’s.  We moved around a bit, although a substantial part of our adult life has been spent in Ohio.  Go Browns, Indians, Cavs and the OSU Buckeyes!  I now enjoy fishing (mostly with a fly rod), playing senior softball, pickleball and hanging out with Merrill.

Although my travels have taken me many places, I am proud to tell folks my hometown is Frederick, MD.

First, huge thanks to the organizing committee for planning this wonderful gathering and creating the class website. That’s a lot of work, effort, and time, to try to bring folks together! Great job!

I am so sorry to be unable to attend but am out of the country. It's a precious opportunity this gathering of the class. I will sadly miss this one but will be there in spirit.

I live currently on the Eastern Shore of MD on the Chesapeake Bay, along with Miles and rescue dog Jebbie. I have two grown children Nathan in D.C., and Erin in Baltimore; both married; and 3 fabulous grandsons in Baltimore.

I earned a B.S..ED in Education, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and post graduate studies in Leadership Psychology.

I'm retired, but worked a myriad of careers including Colorado Outward Bound, high altitude mountaineering expeditions through Above the Clouds, Telluride Academy, Echo Hill Outdoor School Program Director, Renaissance Leadership Consulting, and many years as an adjunct professor in the Athletic Department at Washington College in Chestertown, MD I currently still teach yoga and Pilates several days a week.

The San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado will always be my hearts home, but I LOVE the Appalachians of Frederick County and beyond for their own special beauty...and my worn out knees don't want any of them...on we go! I still miss the beauty of Frederick County despite all the growth and development, and look forward to spending more time there! We were all lucky to spend some growing up time in Frederick County...still a very special place.

I'm sure we've all had by now good times and bad; but we are all the lucky ones to be here to read this website and reconnect. HAVE FUN at the reunion!

Marcia Mika Grieve

Residing In: Buffalo, Wyoming
Marital Status, Spouse's Name:  Robert Grieve

My life has been blessed. I have a wonderful husband of 39 years, two beautiful daughters, two great sons-in-law and one amazing grandson.  Of course there are numerous granddogs and dogs of our own. We also have 14 horses who are part of the family.
I spent 20 plus years after completing an MS in Medical Microbiology working as a research scientist in labs mainly in animal health where I met my husband at Cornell University.  Together we started a company called Heska which is devoted to companion animal health products. We have lived in upstate NY, WI, PA, AZ, and CO and now call home a ranch in WY.  I continue to pursue my love of horses as a student of Parelli Natural Horsemanship and my husband of four generations of true western cattlemen is an avid team roper and recently a reined cowhorse showman.

We hope to travel in the years to come and have had awesome opportunities in the past to visit many beautiful parts of our world. As far as a bucket list - well, a trip to Antarctica and Africa and more grandchildren to start!

10/13/22 Update (In re:  2022 Reunion):  Gosh I wish I was there.  I hope you have a fabulous time.  What a beautiful effort to bring this all together and a huge thank you to all involved.  And a great big thank you to all of you for helping to shape my life.  Those times that were negative and positive sculpted me into the person I am today, and I am a happy person.  It was not easy being the skinny geek valedictorian of your class.  But many of you gave me the hand up and I broke out of that shell.  Today and every day I smile and know how strong I am. I am blessed to have the life and love I have.  I hope you will pass love, compassion and understanding to all of your grandchildren so they will continue to help all the little geeks in the future.  I mean that.

After TJ, I went to Rutgers in NJ (where most of my family was from), and majored in math, but in my junior year I switched over to Forestry. After graduating in 1975, I went to the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Science and got my Masters, followed by a Ph.D. in 1984 from the University of Georgia. After graduating as a bulldog twice (Yale’s mascot is a bulldog, and Yalies founded UGA), I did two post-docs, one at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces and another with the EPA in Corvallis, OR. I have taught biology at Appalachian State University for 33 years, with a few more to go before retiring. By the way, I’m not the only Fredericktonian here – Greg Rhoades, also from Frederick, teaches in the Math Department.

My first marriage was to a girl I met at UGA and we had a son, Ross, who is now 32 and lead engineer for cyber-security at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I have a daughter from my second marriage, Gabriela, who is 23, and a high school science teacher in Charlotte, NC. I met my current wife Claudia at Appstate. She is a Chemistry professor, and will step down as Chair this summer. She is originally from Caracas, Venezuela.

My work over the years focused on the impacts of ozone pollution on plants, and it has taken me to China, Japan, several European countries, Canada and Mexico. Linda Wertheimer on NPR interviewed me in 2000 on “All Things Considered”, about ozone pollution in the Smokies, and Katy Tur interviewed me on the Weather Channel. I have a Facebook site (Fall Color Guy) which I use to inform people about the fall leaf colors in North Carolina.

I tried to resurrect my tennis career recently, but my knees said “NO!” Jim McNitt was my TJ doubles partner. Jim – I apologize, 50 years late, for hitting you in the back of the head with my serve. I did continue playing the euphonium for a number of years in the community band, and I want to say a belated thanks to Gary Smith for being the best high school band conductor there ever was. And if any of you were late for school, you probably had to deal with my mom, who worked at TJ. She’ll be 94 in July, is still living in the family home on 14th Street, and can outdo me with the Washington Post crossword puzzles! Looking forward to seeing everyone at our 50th!

Name:  Deborah (Debby) Parks Wulff
Occupation: Director of Human Resources (retired)
Residing in:  Windsor, CO
Marital status:  Married to Bill Wulff (class of '69)

Bill and I have been married 50 years in August, 2022. Shortly after we were married, we moved to San Diego CA and started our family. We have two beautiful daughters, one who lives in San Diego and one who lives in Fort Collins CO, two wonderful sons-in-law, and four grandchildren (two in each location). During our time in San Diego, I finished my BA in Human Resources Management and worked for the Poway Unified School District. It was there that I began my career in Human Resources and retired 30+ years later. After 40 years in San Diego, we retired and moved to Northern Colorado where the air was clear and the cost of living more reasonable.

While still in California, I started backpacking with middle schoolers in a school district sponsored summer program in 1989. From there, I started leading backpacking trips for women in 1991 and backpacked throughout the Sierras for 23 consecutive years. I loved every minute of it! Since moving to Colorado, I have found a new love in fly fishing. I play "at" golf occasionally, and briefly hiked with the Poudre Wilderness Volunteers as a volunteer ranger. I continue to play the violin, mostly for my own enjoyment and at our church. I am a model train enthusiast and built my first layout for the grandchildren, but it quickly became a layout for me when I kept finding ways to make it bigger and better.  Bill and I travel as often as we can in the US and Europe, and "glamp" in our travel trailer in the Rockies when we are home. I still get involved in way too many things, which always leaves me strapped for time.

It has been wonderful to read the profiles that so many of you have posted and I hope to continue seeing updates from the Class of 1970!

Occupation:  Logistics Checker/Volvo Powertrain in Hagerstown. Volvo bought Mack Trucks in 2001. God willing, I hope to be retired when this party starts next year.
Marital Status, Spouse's Name:  Married,  Colleen

Married to Colleen Kay (Smilak) for 35 + years, with two grown children. Brandon (33) a Nurse Practitioner, and Deanna (31) a Case Management Nurse. Neither are married yet, still waiting for grandkids.

Started working before graduation, lost 30 pounds the first month!  Who knew that work would do that to you, lose weight?  Worked in Frederick for three years, then put in an application to Mack Trucks in 1973 and have been with them for 46+ years now, worked in just about every department. Currently working as a Logistic Checker, putting together loads of engines, transmissions and axles for the assembly plants (it's a pre-retirement job).  During these 46 plus years, I asked Jesus Christ to be my Savior (1980), met my beautiful wife and married her (1984), Brandon came into this world of ours (1986) and Deanna close behind in (1988).  Finished building the home we all shared (1988). Endured being laid off 9.5 years (1987 to 1997), and a major health scare (1994). Bone cancer was mentioned by three sets of doctors, but the fourth thought differently thank God. Close to losing my right leg, it was so swollen.  God still heals!  After returning to Mack in 1997, time went by and Brandon and Deanna graduated from high school.  College was waiting for them, I made sure that was happening for them.  After they graduated (again), Colleen and I bought a travel trailer (1st one) and 2 days later took it to Key West!  That was beautiful and an experience!  Who knew that NASCAR went through Miami at night?  We then went to Hawaii for 2 wonderful weeks to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary (Oahu, Maui and the Big Island).  Would love to go back.  I have read this over and so much is missing that I have gone through. I love camping (rv'ing), good food, good people, reading, and archery (coach it).  Don't like family and friends who pass away!  To everyone stay healthy!  See you soon!

Residing in:  Frederick
Marital status:  single

Well, moved back here a few years ago and really enjoying being here. Love seeing all the old friends still around, and connecting with others online. It's like nothing has really changed getting back with everybody. I love it!

Am still working but no longer fulltime. My passion is Holistic Medicine but have worked in many capacities.

I have three wonderful grown children, and three beautiful and I'm not exaggerating, grandchildren, lol. They mostly live in Los Angeles so it's difficult to see them much.
My son lives with me though so that's a treat, as well as his two dogs and my dog, and our 4 chickens. The chickens are a hoot! Organic eggs anyone?

I love nature of course, still hike, swim, read like crazy and play bridge a lot, especially online.

I used to travel a lot, was married to a filmmaker plus I was a medical officer for Peace Corps and then there was always international and US fun travel. So have been lucky to have been so many places back when travel was easier. And I love to camp! Went back to Assateague Island this past summer to camp. If I only had an RV!

Ok, that's it I guess. Great to see everybody's profiles here and on FB and hope to see more of all of you. Shout out to Jeannie Maupin, thank you for your kindness regarding my sister Becky. So sweet! As well as Carol Solt, Barbara Crutchley, Lex Fry, Terry Cannon and my other friends not in the Class of 70. You were definitely there when I needed you and still do. We all help with each other, don't we?

Love to all living and all we lost already, we still think of you. Peace!

 Occupation:  Retired pharmacist
 Residing in:  Frederick
Marital Status, Spouse's Name: John Wagner, TJ class 1968

I began my college education at Purdue University but transferred to University of Maryland where I received my BS in Pharmacy. I practiced mainly in Frederick, in retail pharmacies for close to 40 years.

We have no children but we have always had pets. Our current little guy is a Havanese named Lenny. If we hadn’t moved to a condo we’d still have Newfoundlands, the best dogs in the world!

We have traveled quite a bit in the US, Europe, and the Caribbean. Hopefully we will continue to do more of it in the coming years.

My passion in retirement is silversmithing. I begin taking classes at The Delaplaine as soon as I retired, and will continue to do so as long as I am able. It’s my “happy place.”

My husband John opened Wags’s Restaurant in downtown Frederick in 1981. Luckily it is still doing well and he continues to run it, hopefully for a few more years before he retires.

Marital Status,Spouse’s Name:  Married to Anne Spinnler

I earned a degree in Outdoor Recreation from the University of Maryland in 1975.  I met Anne there in 1971 and we got married in 1973 at Gambrill State Park.  I worked for the National Park Service for 32 years as a Park Ranger (12 years) and Park Planner (20 years).  After retiring in 2008, I’ve worked part-time jobs such as Ballpark Tour Guide for the Baltimore Orioles, and Host at the Frederick Visitor Center.

As of 2020 I have been married to Anne for 47 years and we have three sons: Jake (age 42), Dan (age 39), and Dave (age 34).  Jake and his wife Sara have two daughters (Charlotte, age 9, and Claire, age 6); they live in Alexandria, VA, but will soon move to Switzerland for Sara’s job with the State Department.  Dan lives near us in Frederick, and Dave lives in Charleston, SC, where he’s a cook at the Wild Dunes Resort.

I still enjoy playing basketball and jogging.  I’ve completed 21 JFK 50-Mile ultra-marathons, and have also run 25 marathons.  I had a heart attack in 2016 (Anne helped save my life) so I’ve “down-shifted” to Half-marathons.  Anne and I were baptized (immersed) in 1975 and have been Christians for 45 years; we now worship at the Frederick Church of Christ.  God willing, I hope to see you at our 50-Year Class Reunion.

 Spouse's name: Janis Schmitz

I moved to Wisconsin in ’78. Never thought I would get out of Fredneck alive. I still miss living in the mountains. I have always said that when I retire I will stop mowing grass or blowing snow. I guess I am not retired, just tired. I couldn’t figure out why life is getting busier and busier until I realized that it now takes me four times as long to do anything then it used to.

Recently I started to raise a few chickens. Must be doing something right, haven’t killed any yet.

The four most important people in my life, so far, have been my mother, my best friend, my daughter and granddaughter. All female, wonder what that means?

Some of the world’s problems that have arisen recently are ones that I thought were solved in the 60’sand 70’s. They were only covered up and allowed to fester. Had I known then what I know now. We are all one. Peace and love.
