Third row: Sally Atkinson McMurry and Louie McMurry.

Onderdonk's

Late August, 10 classmates from TJ 1970 traveled to Waynesboro to see John Onderdonk & son Jamie's garage. Those in first pic are Easterday, Clabaugh, Hawkins, Gardner, Snyder, Lee, Stull, Spinnler, Hafley and Onderdonk. Dan Jenkins (FHS 1970) also attended. John and son restore old vehicles. Note - Barney standing beside his future Ford panel truck. There were approximately 20 vehicles outside and that many inside. We enjoyed the time together, having lunch and then back home in time for Jack's afternoon nap.

Dear Classmates, September 2,2021

It is with great disappointment that your reunion committee, with input from several fellow classmates, has decided to postpone our October 2021, reunion.

The committee wants our event to be well-attended, warm, friendly, and comfortable for all, without the need to wear masks or wondering who amongst us remain unvaccinated. We also do not want in any way to be spreaders of the coronavirus. None of us want to be carriers of the disease back to our unvaccinated friends or to our young family members too young to be vaccinated. The community transmission rate in Frederick County may trend higher with schools opening. Some of our classmates could be traveling from areas with even higher rates.

It is premature at this time to venture as to when we can reschedule our event. We will continue to monitor the status of the epidemic and will reschedule when it is safe to do so.
